Today is the day!

Well it is 12:48 am on August 23, 2011... that means that I leave today! At 4:45am we will be driving to the Salt Lake International Airport and dropping me off! I can not believe it. I am not feeling as prepared as I would like, and so that concerns me. But I know this will be an incredible experience! Probably one of the main thing that is keeping me calm is the knowledge that I have a Heavenly Father who I can pray to anytime and anywhere! This is such a huge blessing as I am traveling to a new country and living there for 4 months. I know he hears and answers my prayers and the Holy Ghost will bring me peace! I know that he loves all hic children and that if I turn to Him, He will give me a deep love for the Russian people!

You guys have all been such a support! Thank You! It is so nice to have a great family and great friends who are excited for me, and believe that I can do this hard task! :) I am going to miss you all!

In preparing to go away, I have been able to spend time with my friends- here are pictures of our epic nertz game! Needless to say, Morgan won...

Since I will be in Russia on my birthday, my family has been so awesome at making sure I have it celebrated! They took me out to dinner a while ago, the made me a cake with a giant candle! That is how we do candles in Erda! ;)
And today they made me a dinosaur pizza for my goodbye dinner/ family b-day dinner! It made me so so happy! I am going to miss my family so much! I am going to miss the comforts of my own home, and the simple life. However, I am ready to make big changes and grow, and i know Russia will do this for me!
I will try my best to update basis. I have no idea how reliable internet will be, but I am aiming for at least twice a week!

I will miss you! :) Please be safe and take care!
God be with you 'till we meet again!
ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE!!!
:) Good Luck Ya'll!

Wow...I'm awesome!

Luckily Blogger is forgiving when it comes to stupid mistakes. I tried to inform my mother what my blog's address was. I told her it was "adventuresofkelsee.blogspot.com"

as she tried that, nothing came up.

*Pause*

WHAT?!?!?!?!

Turns out......

My blog address was "advenTRUEs of Kelsee.blogspot.com - I can't even spell adventures!
Well like I said, Blogger was very forgiving of my DUH moment and I was able to change it!
The new address is now spelled correctly!
Nothing like Adventrues... Truthful adventures... hmmmm...
Well just know that I am human and I do make mistakes, since I am sure some of you didn't believe that!
*Cricket* *Cricket*
ummm.... kidding... TOTALLY KIDDING!
So yes we are now fixed and I now can sleep tonight. Phew!

Packing, spending money, and more packing!

Russia is less then 2 weeks away! It almost doesn't seem real. I started officially packing today and then it made it more real. There is a lot that goes into going away for 4 months and teaching English.  I expect it is a lot like preparing for a mission, only a lot shorter.
Man,I am so scared...
  and so excited!
but so so so scared...
but so so so excited!!
Haha and I thought going to school in Idaho was far away ;)
This will be my first ever trip outside of the United States, let alone my myself and I think that it will be an incredible experience! I can't wait to live with a host family and meet the other wonderful ILP teachers that will be a part of my life for 4 months!
I am hoping to be a much better blogger in Russia, but we'll see ;)

Oh and my sister got married! That is pretty exciting! Tomorrow is their last reception in Idaho Falls.
Here are a few pictures from the Erda Reception and Salt Lake Temple wedding.
Renee, Sarah, Loretta, and me!  Man I love those girls soosoosoosososo much!!!!
 My parents at the reception

At the Lion House, this was before they were married...
...and this is after! They look so happy! :)
So needless to say this month has and is very eventful!
The Lord constantly blesses us with wonderful blessings and happiness in our life! I know that the opportunity to go to Russia is truly a blessing and I am so grateful for it and hope to take pure advantage of it!
11 days I believe....... Crazy talk! But wonderful none the less!

Keep it real!
Kelsee   haha if this bored you to tears I apologize! Read at your own digression.. nope that's not right... discretion! (I think that's right.... basically you are responsible for entertaining yourself, I will do my best!)
