Halloween!

Well the week of the 23-29 of October was really good! We started off the week with an awesome FHE as always! :) We love FHE with the missionaries!
Oh and we also taught!
Me and Matvey- he is one of my favorites!

They made bat headbands in preparation for Halloween!
Daniel is such a cutie!

Hahaha Kirril! (What is this, it's mom)

They are so so so cute!
And this is my wonderful host mom making a purple hat--- for me!! I have a hat and matching mittens- I will take a picture- she is so good to me!!!

We met this ILP graduate at the church building and he is about 25. He speaks so well- you can’t even tell he’s not American! Well he was so thoughtful and on Wednesday he gave us a lesson on Russian history! History is his major, and so he took us on a walk to a beautiful park and told us the history behind St. Petersburg! It was really awesome and he was so knowledgeable! Voronezh actually was where Peter the Great built a lot of ships before relocating to St. Petersburg. It was awesome to learn about!
Us listening to Max!
Max was talking in a British accent, which is really funny to hear a Russian to a British accent, this is Mikaela laughing at it!
The gang and Max!
This is me and Max! He is an awesome dude!

Then we came to lunch and they fed us Kiwi cake... with actual kiwis in it!
See those green things--- Kiwis!

Then on Thursday we had a big Halloween party for the kindergarten! It was so much fun! All the kids dressed up and they went around to stations playing games! We had a cake walk, pin the wart on the witch’s nose, musical chairs, a bean bag Halloween cat toss, and of course LOTS OF CANDY!
It was really fun to see how excited the kids were to be dressed up. We have seen more and more of Halloween pop up in Russia, even though a lot of people don’t understand the concept, but signs and costumes are becoming more popular! But we had 5 spidermans (is that a word?), a few witches, and a bunch of other adorable kids dressed up!

Here I am! I dressed up like a little girl!
Here are a bunch of adorable kids dressed up!
 :)
 Cutest Angel EVER!!!
Here is the whole group with some kiddies!
And then this is a picture of a.... thing which one of Mikaela's students gave her! So there is this boy in her class which really really likes her, and tried to give her 1000 roubles (like $30) and is always giving her gifts! This is such a precious gift! :)
Bahahahaha It is the weirdest thing I have ever beheld!
My apologies for the long break!
I will post about St Pete's soon!
